Do You Have A Favorite Soap Opera That You Just Cant Miss?

For me, It would be Y&R followed by The Bold and The Beautiful ( since it has started getting better )

Anyone else hooked on Soaps??

For the last couple of years have been "hooked" on passions..but there are so many story lines and they never seem to finish any that I keep saying I am going to quit watching and then watch again, and again....

I started watching them when I was a little girl back in the 4th grade, first one I watch was General Hospital with my grandmother
My daughter grew up even with that one. LOL,

If I do miss one I won't die of not watching them. In fact for a long period of time I stopped watching soaps, but I'm back to watching them again.

I watch 3 main ones. I do miss them from time to time, and thank goodness I do have the Soap channels. LOL.
which are:

All my children
One life to Live
General Hospital

With the soap net, Im also beginning to watch Days of our lives.

My son's gf has been trying to watch them on and off with me and will want me to fill her in.
Even John will watch them once in a while with me. of course he used to be a custom housepainter, and when he would go into a home to do painting, Lo and behold wives would be watching, plus his first wife was a soap watcher. So he knows the story lines too.
LOL
in fact Sat she and my son went to the State Fair and there was some of the soap stars there. She tried taking pictures of them for me, to bad I couldn't see them up close. would love to do that one day, but don't think it will ever happen

could be more than I may not think of soaps. LOL

I love Bold and Beautiful and Young and Restless. I usually record on DVR and skip commercials and some of the story lines when they drag on for too long. I can miss and read synopsis on computer at www.CBS.com. Been watching both of them since they came on. As for Shelia on the Young and Restless, I thought she was dead--I hate that story line. If I could only watch one it would be B&B since it lasts only 30 minutes.

My favorite Soap is All My Children. My oldest is named after a character from that show. (Jenny Gardner from the early 80's, she was Tad's sister).
Anyway, I have followed that one almost religiously. I do like One Life to Live, my favorite character there is the old Todd.
I do like Day of Our Lives. Bo and Hope are my favorite couple. ut all time favorite character is Stefano DiMeara.

I used to be hooked on Young and the Restless but got annoyed with it, so I tuned out! I am very very hooked on As The World Turns. All the kids are napping so that is MY hour!

Tami, On Desperate Housewives- Bree was dealing with her mil, whom she ended up slapping. George came by and the mil called the insurance agency stating that she (bree) has a boyfriend.

Edie is sleeping with Susans EX husband, and they are moving into together, Susan was not happy about that, she accidently hit Edie with her car!

Lynette was getting angry about the house being a wreck when she was out working. Ended up buying and setting a rat louse in their house. Basically according to her talking to the dead rat he (the rat) saved her marrage! (she was feeling guilty that her dh actually killed it)

Gabriella, was stuck visiting Carlos if she wanted any money (he had total control) she loudly mentioned that he was a rich jerk, in turn he was blackmailed by another inmate to give his gf money or be beat up. SO Gabbie went to give the girl the money, but talked the girl out of taking it. (It was for a boob job) anyway Carlos got beat up, gabbie said she would take care of it if Carlos turned the checkbook back over to her!

It was good as usual, Bree is going to be a big suspect in Rexs death, that was the other thing Rexs dr. friend kept the note telling Bree he forgave and understand why she did it.

Dont forget to Watch SUNDAY AT 9! I cant believe I remembered all that but probaly still missed a lot!

I would have to say Y&R. It is the absolute best! I have watched Days since day 1 and I would have to say now that I hate it. Passions is horrible and frustrating. My daughter and I watch Days while we eat lunch, and just clean house after that while it is on, but we just hope that it will change and the writers catch on that the people just don't like these shows.

Lee, thanks for the synopsis of Desperate Housewives-maybe you should do that for all of us every week in case we miss an episode-hint, hint!
