Oh my word!! I saw it after the dj on local radio talked about it. I SOBBED thru it. I'm a sap anyway (cried at the end of most Waltons epidsodes) but this really touched me. It think I went thru 1.5 boxes. I only hope I'm as lucky.

I didn't realize messg in a bottle was by the same person.- I enjoyed that one too for who ever asked.

I loved The Notebook on DVD, I sobbed so. My dad is going through that, and I can't tell you how heart wrenching it was to watch the movie, as he has no one to love him ...

I saw A Walk to remember quite a while ago. Also a tissue box movie, but I liked it very much too..

Im not sure if the new book will be going to movie or not. I would think that it would follow suit and go though....at least I hope. I'll have to do some searching to see if I can find out.

I LOVE the Nicholas Sparks books. I haven't read the ones that have come out this year, but I have read the others on the list. They are ALL wonderful!! The Notebook is my favorite. I have read it over and over!!! I have to say, I like the book better than the movie, but I tend to do that. Fun to hear about others who have enjoyed his work too!

I would say that 9 out of 10 times, the book is better than that movie. JMHO.

I just watched "The Notebook" wow, what a good movie!

And yes, Tami, if you like "The Notebook", you will like "A Walk to Remember". DD had me rent "A Walk to Remember" when it came on PPV, a few years ago. It was a great movie as well. I thought it was going to be a "teen" movie. But, it was a good movie, for teens, and adults alike!

"A Walk To Remember" is next on my list.

My DH said that he couldnt sit through another movie like "The Notebook" again so we went for something different. Since I saw that "In the Cut" was getting such bad reviews, I decided to check it out. ( We are strange that way. LOL!) We watched a little over half of it last night and I must say...... It's a pretty strange movie. Most of the content didnt bother us.....we can take it or leave it depending on if the story line is good. ( I dont think I could ever label this movie as good but its not the worst I've seen). I think I've figured it out already...hopefully not. We're going to try to finish watching it before my DS gets home from school ( and during naptime for my DD ).
