Old School Concert Tees

Speaking of older bands, I saw recently that KMart has reissued concert t-shirts from bands like Kiss, Rolling Stones, ACDC, Led Zepplin, etc. I was really surprised! Has anyone else seen these?? I was thinking about getting one for my brother - it might be up to his level of coolness these days I found the link if you want to check them out! http://www.kmart.com/custserv/custserv.jsp?contentId=94

I saw a Grateful Dead hat at Kmart that I thought was pretty cool.

The more they come out with things like this, the older I feel!!! Everything is labeled "Retro"----Hey, I grew up with these things!!! My 20 year class reunion is next year!!!

Leolight, I just came back from Wal-mart and they have men's lounge pants in ACDC or something like that and the Rolling Stones. So, if you are like me and LOVE wearing the men's lounge pants because they are so comfortable--there's another place to go looking for your favorite retro band stuff. However, Is the Rolling stones a retro band if they are still popular? lol

I've got you beat in class reunions by 6 years!

haha - it is sad when bands we listened to become retro. I'm okay with Led Zeplin being called retro now, but won't be so happy when Britney Spears is considered vintage, LOL. I think I'll truely feel old then

Thanks for the tip on the lounge pantsDebora18. I know exactly what you're talking about and I love vegging out in oversized sweats or flannel pants! I'll have to check those out.

ajrsmom - so the shirts looked pretty good in person?? I think I'll definitely look into getting one or two then. Maye I'll get my brother the grateful Dead shirt and I'll get the Stones or Pink Floyd.

I noticed these shirts!

They also have boxers with these "retro" bands. I was going to get DH and DS a pair of the Guns N' Roses on them. But $10 for a single pair of boxers was just a little too much for me to spend.

I still think if they have the Guns N' Roses T's in a few weeks I will get myself one.

huh, I didn't know they were selling boxers as well as the shirts. Is this at KMart? Wouldn't it be funny to have matching Guns n' Roses or Rolling Stones stuff, LOL. I don't think my SO would go for that I think I'd have to stick with the shirt...

I saw the boxers at Kmart. My DH would wear the Guns N' Roses boxers. He currently wears Sponge Bob, so I don't much anything else would bother him.

The t-shirts that I looked at were ok. There wasnt anything special about them.

I liked the hats better...but then again, Im more of a hat person.

I didnt see the boxers or lounge pants but I didnt look to closely either. I love lounge pants like that to wear bed!

We dont go to Kmart a lot any more because there isnt one close to us. We usually stop in if I see something on sale that I like. I went to check out the retro bean bags for my kids. They were so small!!! I miss having an Ikea around to shop for retro furniture.
