Favorite old movies/classics

What are your favorite old movies or classics?

I love the old Sydney Portier movies....Lillies of the Field and The Bells of St. Mary's especially!

I think this will qualify as an old movie....

One of my favorites is ET.

Im not into the traditional classic movies.

We've been checking out a bunch of old movies...

from our library and we are having so much fun with them!

Pollyanna - starring Hayley Mills - This is a great movie! My daughters and I highly recommend you watch it!

Rodger's & Hammersteins Cinderella starring Julie Andrews - I never knew that Julie Andrews was in a Cinderella movie. I have loved her since watching Mary Poppins!

Some other actors that I have been getting checking out are:

Judy Garland
Mickey Rooney
Debbie Reynolds
Doris Day
Elvis Presley
Barbra Streisand
Bing Crosby
Audrey Hepburn

I've also just looked up musicals in the subject category of my library's catalog system.

What other old movies or actors have you enjoyed watching?
