I just got this in an e-mail and think its very true, IMHO.

A car company can move its factories to Mexico and claim it's a free market.

A toy company can out source to a Chinese subcontractor and claim it's a free market.

A major bank can incorporate in Bermuda to avoid taxes and claim it's a free market.

We can buy HP Printers made in Mexico.

We can buy shirts made in Bangladesh.

We can purchase almost anything we want from 20 different countries,

BUT, heaven help the elderly who dare to buy their prescription drugs from a Canadian pharmacy! That's called un-American! And you think the pharmaceutical companies don't have a powerful lobby? Think again!

Please forward this to every person you know over age 50. It is an interesting point of view. Maybe this is an issue that should come up in the next election! Forget the 50, send it to everyone. We're all in this boat together.

Abear, I tried my sources to see if this is true, but I need more information.

However, I DO know that people go over to Mexico all the time and buy all sorts of things and pay very little money and NO taxes. Everything in Mexico is dirt cheap in comparison to the US. Perscription drugs are another thing that people go over to Mexcio to get for very low prices. Many even see Mexican doctors. I don't know how it is if a person goes over to Canada to buy something there. But, this is just about people going into that country and making purchases there. I have bought things made in other countries, including Mexico and have had to pay taxes, but I do not know what the company has to pay.
