Jrztomato, my one kitty does that to me too. I swear as soon as I am done cleaning that thing out they have to jump right in it. I guess to them it is like running water is to some people.

Gosh it was hot today. I was sweating just sitting outside. I love the warmth, but this is just too hot!!

I am here trying to waste time. I have to pick DD up at work at 12:00. And it is only 9:00 right now.

It stormed this afternoon. I am soooo gald to be back. I am going to stay home and eat home cooking all weekend long. Except for the Chinese food I had on one day and the pizza I had at SuzyNMs house, I ate nothing but processed food. When I got home I ate a roasted chicken for lunch and for dinner I ate meatloaf with mashed potatoes. It was really good.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm on my last weekend here in Carlsbad. Bummer. The 22nd starts school and everything will be busy.

Hi all, we had our craft fair at work today. The weather was just beautiful--I am burned real good-arms, neck, ears, face...going to hurt tomorrow for a bit. The craft fair itself was a bust. We had three crafters show up, one food vendor and one booth with home business (tupperware) merchandise and some crafts. We did have two more booths than last year but all the people that called at the last minute for booth spots didn't even stop in... guess we won't be doing this again next year. With all the advertising we did we just couldn't get it to work for the crafters. By some chance, if we do it again, I'll recommend having it in Sept. or Oct instead-even though those are good craft show months, we could still get crafters who can't afford the bigger shows. But, it was a great day for it!

Now we'll be working on another golf tournament and a women's fishing tournament.

School starts here the 25th, they have open house on the 23rd. Guess I'll go with my dd to kind of be her protection against her ex-friend-not that she'd try to talk to her or anything, but you never know.

Of my 4 days off this weekend I haven't been able to sleep in/stay in bed as long as I'd like to. Tomorrow is the day. Don't have any plans until 5pm so I can stay in bed as late as I want. I'll still probably get up and fix breakfast for everyone-unless my sil gets to it first; regardless I will be fixing pancakes. Well, gotta run for the moment. Hoping my dgd will call from GS camp again tonight-they let them call home last night too.

Have fun and stay cool.

Debbie, wonderful pictures!

Debbie, before I forget I must start with you. I read the whole thing on your vacation and was just dying to see the pictures and awesome photos you got there! I love the picture of your dd at the water park...that is a great photo and the one of her in her dress and then her feeding the birds and the one of the kids on top of the uprooted tree...wow! I was imagining myself on that vacation and though I began to think I would be exhausted at the end of it, I still could see all the adrenaline in enjoying it all and the emotions in seeing family and experiencing the beauty of nature with my kids and watching their eyes light up and so forth. Just wonderful what you shared! I loved it! Thank you for taking the time to write(post) it all down! I can only imagine how you feel about your mom. But think of the good things. And Congrats on the Scrapbooking...I love the one with your daughter...I can see why you got some prizes. Great job! They have all these neat things now that we can buy and use in scrapbooks and I just love looking at them at the craftstore. I tell myself to start scrapbooking with my dd but have not done so. But I would love to someday.

Okay, who is next on my list...lol. My mental list and that is not too good either....some missing parts. First of all, I forgive anyone who forgot about me...lol, just kidding....hehehehe! I can't blame you, I have not been around for three pages of posts already....

I finished a PSP lesson on making a boy and his fishing pole...lol was that something...and my PSP partner was waiting on me to get that one thing done so we could combine our work...lol. My partner is from Alaska and she is wonderful. We worked out our time on how to get together and get everything done, we're practically neighbor states but Alaska is two hours ahead of Hawaii time. Okay enough on that...but I will add this, I am getting better every day... Yeeha!

Bar_bar, CONGRATS on the job and the pay! WOOOHOOO! Nothing like getting more than what you expected!

I feel like I may be catching a cold and went and got me some ginger to chew on...they are already prepared to use that way...got some pickled mangoes and got me some Hot Korean Soup....but have not medicated any other way just yet. I do not like taking medicine and just do not know what to use that will fight off a cold better....just sore throat and I feel the eyes are heavy. And guess what? Work starts for me tomorrow...but I may just stay home and do some calls and then Monday on I will be on the road. At any rate, get better everyone with your allergies, keep up the good work on keeping everything at bay...

DeBora, lol on the serial killer flirting....is that what you said, I can't remember...memory loss alert!...anyway, you made me chuckle in that post about carrying your shotgun (was it a shotgun?) lol, for next time, I mean.....buahahaha...hugs to you and keep safe and yeah, go for it, if Coal gotta go with you then so be it!

Okay, I have ran out of things to say...I know that I have definitely forgotten a bunch of ladies and if they lived nearby they would be chasing me right now....

Hi ladies I am mentioning you all, just not by specific names....but you know who you are...welcome to the new friend here at the friendship flower thread, and hello and hugs to Connie, Donna, Melly, Sueanne...lol what happened to not mentioning names?...Mother of 2 (Kay) ....Crftyldy and Trainlady, Barbszy, Theresa...Meg...lol all of you...oh yeah, Train I laughed when you declared yourself a special day to do nothing...I am sorry I missed it...missed joining you...it's like we all need a STOP IT! day....and then we get back to tidying everything up and we go through the daily doldrum of duties and then we should STOP! again...hahaha

Okay I am enjoying this all by myself and no one knows I am posting it yet so let me hit the submit button and get it out to you now !
