Lee yes one of the problems with having kids in my house is that they bring every virus known to man in. I was hoping the worst was over with spring coming but I guess there was one last one to come by and of course I had to get this one!!!

Donna Marie was so glad to read that you got everything worked out with the relatives for your upcoming trip. They need to know that John needs his rest and that this trip will be hard on him. Well I am feeling some what better today....the sick stomach is gone. I would feel a lot better if my DD was not up all night. She has croup and was up most of the night coughing....sounds just like a seal. So today she is home from school and I have a wicked migraine....mainly due to lack of sleep. Jus thope it does not turn into a cluster headache as they go on for days for me! Tomorrow is my scheduled meeting with the school to see what plan of action they are going to take with my middle son Jamie for next year. I hope it is good news. Next week we have to take him to the pediatrician for a full evaluation.
Well I must go. The screen is becoming fuzzy . hope you all have a fantastic day

Deb glad you are feeling better, in answer to your ? about the flea markets, we have not had a totally rain free weekend in a month, hoping for one this weekend, though. DH hasnt been setting up,as much because of the weather and also because he gets alot of people calling for things and than he meets them at the flea market,I think he is getting tired of doing this as a hobby, maybe just a few times during the summer but not every weekend, its ALOT of work, we will still go to them every weekend though, because its alot of fun and we know so many people, not to mention all the bears I find and other things, to restore,I love finding something old and making it into something else or just restoring it.One of these days I'll get pictures to post,actually I have to do that soon, Cyn has asked me to get a picture of something she made me, and I did take it, now I have to finish the film, and get a cd made when I get the pix developed, Im waiting for a sale, I need a new printer, so Im gonna get the 3 in 1 with the printer scanner and copier, dd has one and loves it.
Well I just painted a shelf, its out on the porch, gotta check and see if its dry, dh was gonna do it, but I didnt feel like waiting for a month, lol to have it done.Nancy (kellydid) I didnt know you had bloodwork done, is everything okay?I started an email to you and its still in my draft folder,I still cant sit here too long, well my 30 min is up, gotta stretch again (my back)

I had to get Ben underwear for school when neither he nor I was ready for it and I stood in Kmart and cried over the underoo display because he wasnt a baby anymore..of course he wasnt potty trained for another 6 months later but it was so final...

I had an interesting morning I was at the carnival kitchen slicing lemons very happily for half an hour and then I attempted to slice off the tip of my ring finger I was sent (apron and all) to the school nurse who bandaged me up and then the librarian took me back to the kitchen, got me a ride home, and I was under orders to go to the ER and not to drive myself. So I got a neighbor to take Luke and the babysitter spent the rest of the morning driving me to the ER! I love having babysitters old enough to drive! Turns out it did not need stitches but if it swells much I will have to have my wedding ring cut off so far it's not too bad. I got a butterfly dressing on it and a tetanus shot. I am trying to type without that finger
Obviously tomorrow they will have to give me work that does not involve knives
There will be no guitar-playing this weekend, either!
Luckily it does not hurt much anymore, and it will heal. I have to say I'm pretty wiped out right now. Guess it was the adrenalin rush. I was fine handling it all until I was back home, and now I just want a nap! Instead I am having
Barbzsy: Hope you feel better....try tucking a pillow under your arm to elevate it some so the swelling will go down...Hope they dont have to cut your ring off...
I've lost my wedding ring been looking for it now 2 days.
I take it off every couple of days because Im allergic to the white gold part of the band but I refuse to get another one
because we have matching rings and I like that (plus there is no way of getting the ring off DH's finger after 5yrs I told him to get it bigger) I know I took it off during a 3AM feeding and thought to myself this isnt a good place ill never find it here and then the baby cried and afterwards I passed out...

bensmom--My mom is a big believer in praying to a Saint to find things that have been lost. It is Saint Anthony, patron saint of lost (hopeless) causes. He has helped her "find" many things that she has misplaced. Good luck in finding your rings.

as of now, the plans are for my daughter to get the girls on the 25th . As the last day of school is on the 26th. Sat she came to pick up the girls for the wkend and we discuss this futher, she said she could get the girls on the 25th but when did she suppose to hav them back. I just looked at her and said, you told me you were going to keep them... She informed me she is, but she was thinking that the last day of school was not the 26th.... LOL
Makes me wonder about her...
To my acknowledge she is taking them on the 25th... Mixed feelings... I need the rest, yet I am concern...
for those dark mm's well John would want those dark mm choc, will have to see if I can find some for him.
John went back to the skin doctor to get more places worked on and another place to be exam to see if it needs to have anything tooken or not for the skin cancer.
He is doing fairly well on the nebulizer, which he does twice daily along with the other meds.
Still with his cumblin (misspelled maybe) they still don't have the right dose for him, so he goes 2 - 3 x's per wk to work on that.
It is meds to help him to keep his blood from clotting, therefore he cannot ever work with power tools again, nor can he use a reg razor has to use a electric one.
. for those that remember me saying I wasn't sure if I was going to try to get a scanner or go to chiro practor, with the Mother's Day money my daughter gave us; well did either as our TV went out so I used it to get help get another one

Abear, Gabie is 7 1/2 months old already. He is so adverse to sitting in a high chair and we don't know why. He screams when you put him in one. It is hard to feed him w/o being in one. He likes the swing and bouncy chair, so maybe it is because it doesn't move. He used to scream like someone was killing him when you put him in the carseat, too. He has a new one and seems to like it better.
The last pictures I have of him are a couple moths old. I tried to post one, but I couldn't get it right. I tried resizing it. I think it is in the wrong format. I do better with jpg. We have a digital video of him at Easter that is darling. Was going to put on the computer but my dh messed up when he ordered his new computer.He thought the box you checked was for both dvd and cd writer. Well, you were supposed to make a choice in that box. He left it like they had it, and so no dvd burner, only cd. Got this expensive little dvd video camera and can only watch it on the tiny screen.
All this fancy new stuff, I don't know how to use it.
I am going to wrap the napkins up with the silverware and silk flowers for the wedding. I suppose I told about them, but they are a green napkin, you put the silverware inside, along with a silk flower. Then put them all in a flower pot to look like a boquet. Very cute. I have 50 of them to do. Will get them all done and store in a box until the wedding.
Things are coming along. My dd made a notebook with dividers for each part of the wedding. She has a drawing of the reception room, and a diagram of where the tables go. Then another page with the tables for the food and where each dish and type of food goes in the dishes. Perfect organization. Makes things so easy. She has lists of each food, the recipe , along with the ingredients and how much of ingredient to buy.
We may actually be able to pull this off !
Ok, time to get some work done.
I like milk chocolate better, too. Especially orange jelly strings !
Will like to try the new M& M's , though. My dh likes dark chocolate best.

Now that I am done with the blanket, I am working to finish a few sweaters. And I am starting a cuddly for my ds who asked me to make a blanket for him like the new baby's...only big enough for his bed. That much blanket would smother me. Lots of projects to get me through until I can do whatever I want. I am slowly increasing my activity. Doing a little more driving. And I am not nearly as tired.
I am off to get ready for bed.
