Do you live in the fast lane

Do you live in the fast lane?
The slow lane?
Or just cruisin?

I guess I am in the slow lane. Used to be in the fast lane years ago when I could work all day and then still go out dancing at night and get up bright and early the next morning and start all over again!!
We are homebodies and content to just read, watch videos, listen to music, putter in the yard and around the house.
Wouldn't want to go back to the fast lane!

hugs,train

That's a cute question. It used to be the fast lane for me, also. Now I'd have to say I'm just cruisin. After working all day, tending the house, DK's and DH, I like to sit on the sofa and veg out with the tv. But then again there are times when I like to "whoop" it up a little.

I am very content with staying home, cooking and of course going on FC when I get the time.

Have a great day!

I find myself quickly leaving the life in the fast lane. I've slowed down a lot in the last year or so and I def enjoy it. I do enjoy the night out every once in a while, but it's a lot more tame than it used to be. It does a body good, though.

Absolutely not, I have in years past, I hated it. I missed to much time with my kids. In the past few years I have made changes in my life that gives me more time with my kids,(though they need it less). I work only six miles from work, very rarely doing overtime anymore. Sometimes in the good weather I ride my bike. No more forty five minutes to an hour commute(due to traffic). I don't yearn for expensive material objects, or what the neighbors have. One of my greatest pleasures is coming home in the good weather and sitting out in my yard preferably talking with either ds or dd.

I moved over to the slow lane a few years ago when I retired. Lately I've been parked more than I should but also use the bicyle path a lot.

We are def in the slow lane although we never run out of things to do around here. We used to go out dancing alot but over the years we slowed way down & of course we gained a little weight now too! Not as much exercise I guess, we are very happy & content to be homebodies.
