Glad I found this, I know I need it..

For having my loving husband through thick and thin.

For two great kids (now adults) who never gave us any real trouble.

For 6 wonderful grandkids.

For the fact the Blizzards missed us.

For surviving 4 heart attacks and two open heart surgeries. I am truly blessed by our loving Lord.

1) I'm grateful for the new church I am attending now.

2) I am grateful for the children's ministry that my son and daughter enjoy each Sunday morning.

3) I am glad that I have a computer and it is running well and I can be online.

4) I am glad that I have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep on at night.

5) I am glad that my dh and I are working things out in our marriage...little by little.

This is a great idea! Love it!

hugsss,

~LovedMom

This is really a good idea trainlady. My mom tried to get me to write down 5 things I was grateful for a couple of years ago. Let's see if I can be more successful at it.

1. I am grateful for my mom who taught me so many things, especially that whining doesn't always gets results.

2. For my children and my dh.

3. For the good friends I have received as a result of FC.

4. Not having to work at the job I was at anymore. The language was horrible, and I'm glad I don't have to listen to all the terrible words anymore. Also for not having to be under the stress of trying to be perfect anymore.

5. For my religion and belief in God.

1. For all the opportunites we are privileged to have in this country, libraries, schools, food, free speech.
2. My husband, second marriage and are lucky to have found each other.
3. For the gift of laughter
4. For my good friend and condfidant, Annie
5. My son, who by all rights, should never have lived this long. Will 21 in a couple of months.

Im glad you started this thread too Donna, its good for me to think of 5 things a day Im grateful for. Sometimes(myself included) we forget about the "little" things we take for granted.

Today Im greatful my dh came in safe and sound from the awful snowstorm we had after plowing almost all night, then having to get up at 6 to go to his plumbing job.

Im greatful dd and my 2 gd;s are safe and warm after getting stuck last night while dd attempted to go out after I told her she should stay in. I guess she didnt realize until she got halfway down her street and stuck how bad it really was out.

Greatful that I was able to see my "great aunt" one last time during the holidays before she went into the coma she is now in and probably wont come out of.

Greatful to just be able to look out at all this snow, and know Im safe and warm right now, when there is others that are living on the streets

Greatful we are able to donate food to the local food pantry and its not the other way around.
