I thought with all the sickness and bad weather going around, we could all use a rainbow!!!

Deb, Do they have any open MRIs near you? I just had one done that way and it was not too bad. You are in a machine but it is open all around you. You lay flat and they put you between 2 round disk like things. My dh even got to sit next to me and keep me busy talking. cau

Not that I know of at this hospital. They asked me if I was clausterphobic so I am guessing there was no option. I am going here because they could get me in in 3 weeks. If I went to Ottawa which is only 1 1/2 hours away it could take 4 months and the doctor wanted me to have this in 2 weeks. I wish I could have one like you stated. If I have to have ongoing ones I will inqure as to where I might be able to find one that is open. for now just wish me luck!!!!

Deb, I didn't find the MRI bad. It had enough room in it to not feel too cramped. I am overweight, too. Not nice and slim like you. They played nice music and the tech just talked to me. They have speakers in there.
Keep thinking of how it will be worth it to find out the problem.
