Your Dream Job

If you could do anything you like, what would your dream job be?

I think it would be cool to own a small, intimate bookstore, not a big outlet but a cozy, friendly place with all sorts of books. A place where I would know most of the patrons and vice versa.
Cookies.......tea.......soft music..overstuffed chairs!!!

hugs,train

I'd be a photographer (working around my own schedule of course !) or an event/party planner. I've had experience doing this for the corporate world and for the city I live in. It's so energizing ! Lots of long hours and stressful days but I loved it.

Funny this thread came up, all last night I couldn't sleep-I was having a job interview in my head for this very thing. Then couldn't decide if I wanted to go back to school to get certified. Can you believe you have to be cert. to plan a party??? Once I got my degree I swore I'd never go back to school...

train, I love the bookstore idea! I've thought of several dream jobs over the years, but I think that I'd really like to be able to make my own schedule no matter what job I had. I'd like my 'job' to be something with my computer and/or community.

My Dream Job.......

My dream job will never happen unless I win the lottery, but just in case......

it would be to have a country tea room in a big, older style house.

My dream job is to be a psychologist and hopefully a forensic psychologist, which would mean being in court a lot. I also want to do a lot of research in psychology in my job too. I am winding up my BA to achieve just that! I am having fun working with people and will be doing my own experiements in the fall. It's been my dream since 1980 and then forensics since the early 90s.

I have it! SAHM and daycare provider. Unfortunately it doesn't pay as well as my old dream job of teaching. For now it is perfect. I have been home and providing daycare for a year and a half but have been home more than teaching for 6 years with all my mat. leaves. I'll be home for another 5 or so, then I'll return to my other dream job.
