Did anyone catch Mitch Ablom's movie "The 5 People You Meet In Heaven" this past Sunday?
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful thought provoking movie it was. Really made me look at my life, wondering whose lives I touch and not even know it. The last person he met, the little girl named Lalla, when she asked him to wash her....that was when I lost it. I had been teary eyed on earlier scenes like when he is dancing with his wife (the 4th person he "met") and he asks her if she can look like she did when she "left." She says she thought he would want to see her when she was younger and prettier. She changed her appearance for him while they were dancing. And then later when they are riding the ferris wheel together and he sees all the people he had met in heaven togehter in one place on Ruby Pier.
I did have trouble getting through the war scenes though. Almost went to bed then but glad I didn't
Did anyone else watch the movie?
