It was difficult to get up this morning. Did not get into bed until after 1:00 a.m. DD had to take DDBF to the ER last night. I could not go to bed until she got back and could tell me what was going on with him. Seems he has a lodged kidney stone along with a severe UTI. They gave him some antibiotics and told him to see an Urologist ASAP.
Against my better judgement, DD & DDBF left here just after 8:00 a.m. headed for New Orleans. They went to the Saints/Panthers game. I was so
that Jake and his Panthers kicked some butt.........only wish it had been a shut out!!!
This afternoon, we had to go to a family birthday party for my SIL's grandson. It was his first birthday party. So, of course his Mom & Dad were making a big deal. Boy was Mommy upset when ALL the men and some of the women ended up in the den watching the game! What do you expect when you plan a b'day party on the day of the biggest game of the Saints season?! Only one person there was hoping for a Saints win. The only time I go against the Saints is when Jake & his Panthers play them.......and then they get what they deserve!!!
I have such a hectic week ahead that I am already stressed just thinking about it. Tomorrow I have to take FIL for an appt with the hemo-oncologist....that will take all morning! I also have to drop off DD's nursing uniform & the two DS' dress shirts at the dry cleaners to have them dry cleaned and pressed with sizing. Then I have to bake some cookies & banana bread to take for refreshments after the school band concert on Tuesday night. Why couldn't we have been asked to bring punch?! Then on Tuesday morning I am taking FIL for an appt with his vascular surgeon and then we'll head to take DH's aunt for her annual mammogram. FIL & DH's aunt have already decided that we will need to stop & eat lunch on the way home. On Wednesday, DDBF's parents are coming over for dinner for the very first time even though DD & DDBF have been dating for over 4 years. We are just totally different people with different interests but DDBF really wanted this......and I can't tell him no!
Either tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday afternoon the two DS have to go get their allergy shots so I can pick up the order from the doctor to take DS # 1 on Thursday morning for some bloodwork to do some extensive allergy tests.
THEN, on Friday morning, DH has his surgery!
