Oprah

Did anyone see the fantasy wedding on Oprah today?
I am watching it right now and it's pretty cool!! The "enchanted garden" where the reception will take place is just beyond description!!!!

I really enjoy Oprah and loved her Wildest Dream show too. She is such a loving giving person. Occasionaly she has topics that I don't get all that "into" but still admire that woman so much.

Deb another common ground for you and I. I like Barry Manilow too. And I really like hearing Johnny Mathis sing BUT hate to watch him, I know this is bad but something about the way he does his mouth OR maybe I should say the way his mouth does.

I don't remember what todays show is about but if Gina and I are home will check it out for sure.

Patti yes I love Barry Manilow, I remember listening to him as a kid and I actually used some of his songs for my skating routines when I use to figure skate!!

When I was a young girl in Japan I went ice skating all the time summer and winter, never got into roller skating except out on the street lol.

I love to watch the skaters on the Olympics.

Patti I did not know you lived in japan!!!! How long and when???
I skated for many years and also did some coaching and at one time had taken my judges certificate. I too love to watch th Olympic skating. My hubby 2 years ago bought me front row seats to the stars on Ice. I got to shake Scott Hamiltons hand!!! Wow that was his farewell tour.

It was after the war hon my Dad had converted from military service to Civil Service (don't know if that is done today) and so he stayed in Japan and Mom, Butch and I went to be with him. I loved every day of it. I was around 12. I went all over Tokyo on the busses NEVER got lost but have NEVER been on one here and in the county we don't have bus service but would not matter as would not even think of it.
Also was in Germany much later time lol with EX, Gina and Judy were both born there. Loved it there too
