Home Parties

Do you get invited to many Home Parties such as....Creative Memories; Longaberger Baskets; Pampered Chef, Home Interior...
etc.........

Have you been to one/any recently? Did you enjoy them? Buy anything?

hugs,train

I like attending home parties.

I like seeing friends I have not seen in awhile, shopping from my seat not from my feet and I like being a hostess because then I can throw a party, make special food, have friends over and get free goods which I can use for holiday gifts!!

I personally DO home parties so I may be a little biased!

But I party swap with alot of people with different companies.

I have not been to a home party in a few years. The last one I was invited to was a candle party. With my allergies & respiratory problems, I regretted going to that party for at least 2-3 weeks!!

Another that I regretted going to was a Mary Kay home party. Nothing against Mary Kay but I was/am allergic to their products and my eyes almost swelled shut!

I do like going to home parties for the most part......especially the ones that sell educational stuff for kids.

I do also like tupperware parties.

I have not been invited to a Home Interior party since before my first DH passed away. I remember buying some sconces for our hallway at the last party I went to.

The one party that I'd really LOVE to go to is a Pampered Chef party. have only been invited to one. That was when DH was in the Navy and was at sea. DS got very sick so I ended up staying home.

Right now, I don't know anyone who does any of the home party stuff.

I have been to one party in the last year. I really can't afford them. The last few parties I hosted flopped. I used to really enjoy them.

Not heard of Body Works, but I would hate for anyone to touch my feet due to extemely dry skin....

This must be a new company.

I've enjoyed going and I have brought some things, and I have gone to parties and not buy but they know this before I accepted, but needed the count...

I've been involved in selling things thur Party Plans before too..
which I have enjoyed....

Cindy,
Longabarger sells wicker baskets and picnic baskets, lots of them fabric covered. I went to one party though it was many years ago.

Have just been invited to a "Party Lite" home party. I've never been to one but will give it a try!!

hugs,train

Love the comment of "shop from my seat, not my feet!! LOL

I love home parties. I, too, like seeing friends and taking the time to catch up as well as shop.
I do like Longaberger even though it is pricey. The baskets have all been very functional for me and they last (love the pie taker for holidays).
I absolutely love Pampered Chef. I will be having one later this month. My cousin recently became a dealer. There is not one thing that I have purchase that I have not used a hundred times. Love the cookies scoops - the best!.
Candle parties are okay, but I like Yankee Candles the best for scents.
I have had Princess House parties, but the dealer I used was a little off. I had told her how I wanted to run the party -- told her a couple of times in fact -- and she got all mad at everyone when they wanted to eat before buying products. She was especially rude to one of my guests about becoming a consultant. She also was not happy because I did not make food that she could eat. I didn't know that she was a no-carber. This was several years ago before that was a popular diet plan. Oh, well. She got almost $2,500 in orders.
I like to host them, I like to go to them.
To the lady who was interested in attending a party -- either have one yourself or contact a local dealer (via the internet). You may be able to tag along with the dealer to one of her shows. Most people won't mind an extra guest.

I love home parties. My favorites are Longaberger Baskets and Pampered Chef.
Although the baskets are expensive, if I see one I want I start saving for it.
I love Pampered Chef. I have a couple of the stones. They are the best too cook on. I recently purchased their Chef's knife. I love it. Although I can't quite use it like a chef does.
Home Interiors is my favorite between that and Home and Garden.
