Cindy, Thanks for the juicy tidbit. I've already set my reminder!!!!

Ajrsmom: My dh knows better than to mess with my "desperate" addictions just like he knows not to mess with my hair!!!! Now, wouldn't that be a crazy character for the show?!

My DH has been gone on a job for two weeks today so he has no clue what I've been watching!

The only thing that matters is that I tape the new episodes of Extreme Make-Over: Home Edition while he is gone!

I am sure when he is home on a Sunday night, he'll go watch Law & Order Criminal Intent in the bedroom while I watch Desperate Housewives! (or maybe I'll end up watching my show in the bedroom!)

You mean like telling you how to wear your hair?? My DH & I went through that when I decided to color my hair! He's never cared how I cut or styled my hair.....as long as I am happy with it. But when I mentioned coloring my hair, he was SO insistent that I color it black...or so brown that it looks black. Now, I would NOT look good with that color of hair with my skin tone. So, for almost 2 yrs we "talked" about my hair color. Finally, when he was gone off shore on a job, I colored my hair the way I wanted....a shade of red. When he came home, he was in shock! He was upset because I did it when he was gone but eventually, he has come to like it......though every now & then he asks if I am going to give in and give "his" color a try. With my skin tone, everyone thinks this is my natural color (except when I am late in getting my roots touched up! )

Cindy about your hair color discussions with dh. If your skin tones look better with red, going black would probably not be a good choice. Tell him you'll look Gothic!!!

My hubby always messes with my curly hair. I hate it!!! I have naturally curly hair (which I sometimes hate) and it takes me a long time to get that windswept look and then he comes and messes it up. I then have to spend hours "putting" my hair back into place. It's as bad as a "wet willey." Ugggggggghhhhhh!!!!!

BTW, I love red hair - my dh is a red head - no kids with red, they all have thick dark brown hair - some curly, some curlier and some just thick. I once straightened my hair - I loved it but my dh hated it.

For those of you who didn't see tonight's episode......and want to see it this weekend...........

STOP..... don't read any further.............

What did you guys think of tonight's episode? That nosy neighbor finding that glass measuring cup in Edie's burned down house - watch out for her. And what about the dog choking on the earring?!?!?!

My favorite is the mom with 4 kids under the age of 6 and her "anger management" issues!!!! And when they knocked the lady down and "ran" for it. I laughed so hard because I could imagine being that mom.

And did you get a eyeful of the gardener's....uhmmmm.... well, he could sure trim a mean hedge/tree.

I'll take the plumber!! Yummy!

I think there may be a dead baby involved here.

What's with all the info and maps in the blonde bimbo's house?!

The son knows what is going on as he remembered when he heard his dad digging up the pool "again."

Kinda cool that Susan saw the trunk especially since it "bobbed" back up to the top! Wonder who will find it?

That poor mother with those 3 boys! Ya gotta feel sorry for her! I thought she was gonna grab the policeman's gun there for a minute! Certainly made him stop, didn't it!

I agree about the possibility of a dead baby.

That wasn't Edie's house....it was Mike's (the plumber). She was cleaning up afer he had to rush the dog to the vet to get the ear ring removed. Seems that Mike knows more about everyone than he has been letting on!

After that ordeal with the lady, I bet those boys wear their seat belts now and behave in the van! I guess that police officer learned that you need to speak softly to a stressed out Mom! It did bother me to see that she had that baby in the car seat buckled in the front seat of that van.......you know that van has an air bag!

Yep, that nosy neigbor finding the measuring cup in Edie's house ashes and then seeing that brand new measuring cup is surely going to cause problems!!

I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes, it is a bit kooky...I will be a devoted viewer for sure. The only really unrealistic part of it is all the skinny women in the neighborhood!

Hi Lee! Yeah I hate that part too. The only one who looks normal is the nosey neighbor!! I would have to eat worms and die if I lived on that street surrounded by skinny women or I may have to have the plumber take them "out." I could use a pool in my backyard, too.

I loved it. Its a dark comedy, so it has some seriousness to it and comedy. I'm gonna watch it every sunday.

I can see that I 'm already hooked on this show!!!! I just gotta watch to see what is the deal with all the maps at the plumbers house and what is in that trunk and why did he dig it up now.

I too loved the scene with the over stressed mom and her kids!!! Wonder what will happen to her down the road.

They got me hook, line and sinker!!!!

Hugs
Debbie
