| Charity events!
I am hoping someone will be able to help me with this.
My sister confronted me with this question.
Currently she is on a Relay for Life team. For anyone not familiar that is a charity for cancer.
She told me she wanted to leave that and find one that would benefit our family. I told her I would also like to do something.
So this is what we are looking for:
A charity event type thing to join for either and/or both:
COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
CHF (Congestive Heart Failure).
We know that they have events such as: Jump Rope for Heart, Dance for heart, and such things as that which yes would fall under the CHF category.
But, we were hoping to do more than just that. Do more like the Relay for Life does. It seems that these groups don't have small groups to do things continuously, like Relay for Life does.
Does anyone know where I can find charity type groups for these things or maybe how to get one started.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
