Okay ladies, this thread is now officially open. Even though Queenie is still with us, we have to start posting here or it is my understanding that we'll lose the flower.

Crockpot Mama this is GREAT. I think this is going to be a fun thread too.
Oh heard from my son in Florida this morning and they are getting a one two pucnch in over (they say) a hundred years of this type of hurricanes. They are under a State of ER and are giving out sand bags in his area. So please if anyone live in Florida my thoughts are with you and try and stay safe and come back to us as soon as you can to let us know you are all right.

Yea for Barbar!!!!! You are so loved and I am glad that this month was picked for US to be able to tell you just how much we think of you and I, for one, love you with all my heart!! You have been such a precious friend to me.

Guess what............the closet is finished and it turned out pretty good considering I had never done any painting before. I painted it soft yellow with off white trim. Today I hung some hooks to hang purses and accesories and after I "get my fix" here, it's back to work rehanging my clothes and getting rid of all the stuff on the bed. That closet was just stuffed to the gills with STUFF!!! I counted 39 photo albums, 2 boxes of 45s my journals, letters I have saved....oh, and a couple boxes of cereal that I must have stuffed in there when there was no room in the cuboard!!!
NOTHING is going back into the closet except clothes and accesories.

At the same time I am doing the closet I am also packing for camping!!
Well, you can just imagine the looks of the bedroom. There is the camping pile, the Goodwill pile, the "goes into the garage" pile and on and on!!!! Well, maybe it's better you can't see it!!!!!

I hope everyone gets through Bonnie and Charley safe and sounds.

Dont know if I mentioned it or not but I am off the crutches as of Tuesday. Actually I think I am supposed to be using them and putting more weight on my leg but I figured if I watch myself and dont over do it just walking around the house and the yard I should be fine. I did take a trip to Walmart, but I walked very slowly and didnt stay long.

Trainlady thatr is great you finished your closet, dont know that I could do that!! I bet it looks beautiful.

What part of Florida does Jrztomato live in? I know she has not been on due to computer and car problems.

The only bad part of being part of this big family is worrying when you hear of the fires, tornados and hurricanes. I think, Oh, no ____ lives around there. Then I have to hurry and get on to see if everyone posts.
