I had a few good times in High School. However, most of my friends were a year older than me and graduated before me.
High school was a big "party" for us. I have no clue how I made it!
My best friend from high school moved to CA right after graduation. She is still there, but we see her every few years.

Yes I loved my high school days. I was one of the shyer girls, did not go to the dances not for lack of offers but simply have 2 left feet
I loved my teachers and if I do say so myself they loved me. One even called me in Germany when he found out I had my 2nd child. What a wonderful surprise he got the number from my best friend who had moved to California with her wonderful hubby. They are still there and we are in touch via the net, snail mail and phone. I love her dearly she is the sister I never had tho' did adopt myself 3 others too.
Thanks to the net and phone am in touch with lots from my class. Our next reunion will be Sept/Oct of '05 and God willing I will be there as most likely due to my age will be the last one I will be able to attend that is in NJ and I don't get home to often. Take care all and God bless

i finished high school in 1979, it was sad for me, i didn't find that i accomplished much, i was a very quiet kid, not outgoing or not a sociable person, like my oldest daughter is, found a job in a clothing factory as a seamstress and that's what i did until i got my 1st kid 15 years ago, then quit work and raised my 3 kids myself. so like i tell my kids go to school and never quit and get good jobs, my dh works as a head shipper in a printing shop, he's been there since 1980, i still have friends that i keep in touch with, they all have famillies now and jobs, one is a receptionist at a md's office and another one went to university and is now an accountant

I was never the scholarly type, although thinking about it now I wished I applied my self more. I hated school. I graduated 1/2 yr. with my best friend and basically never looked back. All my friends were already out of school and that was exactly what i wanted to do. I got my Diploma in June but never did the graduation thing. to this day I do not regret it.
My daughter just graduated this year with honors and did the whole graduation thing but it never made me feel like I missed out on anything.
I was so glad to get out of high school it was unbelievable. I did not fit in anywhere, always the last one chosen for any "team" sport, and actually was "booed" a couple of times when i had to play on the team that had to take me. I was very quiet and had only one semi-friend. High school was total torture for me. I also did not have the "right" clothes, and plain just did not "fit in" it was just miserable !!!! I wouldn't go back to that for anything. Luckily two of my three children were popular, and joined many things in high school and had a great time, so i think that sort of "made up" for me the terrible time i had. I got to live the "high school experience vicariously" through them, Prom, graduation, ball games the whole bit. But for me personally UGH

The first two years of high school were no fun but the last two, when I was involved with choir and drama, were fantastic! Of course, we were all so dramatic that life was never boring! I'm looking forward to my 20th next year!

I loved my high school years !!!! I was one of those kids who sort of fit in everywhere...I was in band and choir and took part in putting on a musical. I also was secretary for the students council and key club. Yet I was also on the track team and many other sports clubs. I had good grades yet always managed to have fun. I was not a prep, jock or nerd but I got along with most kids. I still am in touch with about 20 high school friends even though I moved away from my home town. I just recently went home for my 20 year high school reunion......it was so much fun!!! I loved seeing everyone we had such a tight class!! I have remade many friendships since then and hope to still have them at my 25th reunion. I only hope that my 3 kids would have as good an experience as I did. I even look up my old teachers and keep in touch with some of them!!
Hugs
