I agree we should be entitled to express opinoins not put each other down. That said McClain scares me, I've already lost 1 nephew to this war no more that you, this country can't handle 4 more years like the last 8.

I don't want another 4 yrs like the last 8 either. I also want to see this war end. It's one that we probably should not have gotten into. I have a 22 yr old grandson. He isn't in the military at this time but he is talking about joining. But we also need someone who has experience.

I like to hear the opinions of others but I do not care to agrue with anyone.

I did not state that Obama was a Muslim. I know he says he is Christian.
I am not against any religion as I have stated. There are radicals in all religions.

Here are some facts that I thought were interesting. This info comes from Wikipedia,, and the Chicago Tribune.

Obama's father and step-father were both Muslim. I know it is said that the step-father did not follow the Muslim faith. His father was from Kenya and they did live there. Later on when his mom remarried they lived in Indonesia.

In his autobiography, Obama said Soetoro (his step-father) followed the same kind of Islam as many Indonesians, "a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths," the kind of Islam that meant a man could absorb the powers of the animals he ate, such as tigers and snakes.

Obama went to a Catholic school from 1st grade through 3rd grade.

In late 1970, Obama's family moved to another neighborhood, and Obama enrolled in Public Elementary School Menteng No. 1, the school depicted by several news outlets as an Islamic madrassa, or boarding school. The school, founded in 1934 as a Dutch school, once catered only to Dutch children and a few elite Indonesians. In 1962 the Dutch handed the school over to the Indonesian government. At the time, the predominantly Muslim public school was considered one of the best in Jakarta. As I understand it, there were kids of various religions that went to this school and various relgions were taught there. According to Wikipedia, this is where he learned Islam.
Also in Wikipedia is this info.
As an adult Obama admitted that during high school he used marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol, which he described at the 2008 Civil Forum on the Presidency at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California as his greatest moral failure.

Enough said.
