JulieK... Who is the author of this book? It seems that I had seen it somewhere- but cannot put my finger on it?

I just finished reading "Oceans Apart" by Karen Kingsbury. It is a christian fiction book and was so good!! I just went to our library and checked out 2 more of her books. I bought the first one by suggestion of a guy at a hospital waiting room- and I am hooked on her writing style already... The story was so true to life.

Pinkie Winky Love to read also!!

I just love to read---anything. I watch little tv, do catch some talk shows that may be interesting that day, but not much else. I wish I had more time to read, but have been babysitting a 5 month old baby a few hours daily and now with school out for the summer we are busy with my son's baseball games. All star practices begin this Friday so maybe when the tournament is over I will have that little bit of extra time to do more reading. (AHHH... some time for Mom!!!)

Hi

I just read The Ocean Between us by Susan Wiggs. It was a good story about a navy couple and their life.

I hear The Five People You Meet in Heaven is suppossed to be a great book.

Has anyone read P.S. I Love You??? I just bought it so I hope it is good. The reviews say those who like Nicholas Sparks will enjoy.....so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Happy Reading

I recently finished House of Sand and Fog. I thought it was good. But now I no longer want to see the movie. That usually destroys the story. Keep the ideas rolling in. With homeschooling my daughter, I've had little time for reading for my own enjoyment as I'm always reading to keep up with her or for teaching purposes. I'll squeeze some in soon though.

Hello. I'm a big fan of Jennifer Crusie. I have six of her books, soon I'm gonna go buy her latest book "Bet Me". At first I never heard of her, but I went to Borders one day to buy a book, and one of her books just caught my eye. I read it, and I just got hooked. Check out her books, she's got a lot of mystery, humor, sex, and other stuff. It's a good summer read or to read anytime.

The books I have.

Crazy for You
Fast Women
Tell Me Lies
Welcome to Temptation
Faking It
Strange Bedpersons

Hi Beckri...I read House of Sand and Fog also. It was a very intense book and sometimes hard for me to read. I did see the movie because I wanted to see if they could capture the essence of the book.
