What do you like?

I like writning, laying in bed with the lights off and listening to it rain outside,......and the smell after a rainshower. I like riding the train, camping, lemon meringue pie, reading the newspaper at the coffeeshop, hot buttered corn on the cob, San Fransisco, going to chick flicks and George!!!!!

I love to come here to this site with nothing else to do and
just read of all the wonderful people with
ideas that are enlightening. You are all great people.
Anyways... thinking on what I like.

Well.....
I like lightening storms.
I like the thunder that goes with it.
Especially like the smell of rain that usually comes with it.
I like to snuggle with my kids.
I like a warm bath.
I like flowers in the garden.
I like to mow the yard.
I like to serve others. Rewarding feeling. I
I like babies breath (puppies breath)
I like visiting with relatives.
I like camping-
I like water slides. Especially on a hot summer day. "SPLASH"

I like simple things in life.

~I like to snuggle in my hubby's arms and know I am safe

~ I like to get on FC and share with the friends I have made here!

~I like to drive in the mountains (especially at night) and see the deer

~ I like to walk along the beach at night...feeling the breeze on my face

~ I like to see city skylines at night....especially HOUSTON where I grew up

~I like hayrides

~ I like campfires in my backyard

~I like coffee or hot cocoa on a cool night

~I like making crafts with / getting ready for a special occasion with my kids

~I like taking walks on the trails in our local state park

~I like to smell my cat baby's fur

~ I love the smell of a new baby

~ I love to "cuddle" with my pups

~ I like school soccer games


I like alot more but I don't want to bore you

coffee in the morning, and in the winter anytime for sure

being with my husband

to lay in his arms

to write

my gbabies

friends

to come here at FC

to listen to music

to listen to my christian radio station

crafts

my horses and other animals (ducks,dog)

Root beer

and the list goes on and on...

Sitting around a campfire talking with friends and loved ones till midnight or later.
everything about cuddling from the other posts. hubby,kids, and grandkids.
riding around in the country and seeing critters, great scenery like a old crooked tree at the horison of a sunset.
anticipation of Christmas,Easter or any holiday the night before. Giving gifts.
The twinkle of joy in Childrens eyes when they learn something new. Or make you a gift or are full of devilment....oh ...I just plan love children.
Trips to the zoo or plantatiarium(SP) or conservatory or musuem or anywhere new and different .
Family gatherings
Painting a picture
Church
Birthdays except my own he he
eating out
old time things
reading old journels...pre fifties
designing decorations,favors, and crafts
being in charge ... of any thing just about LOL

those old crooked tree ... I like to image what it looks like to me.
I do this alot as dh and I are driving around and we see one, or a cloud and we tell what it looks like to us.

and kids... they can have such a twinkle in those eyes whent they are happy, and it breaks my heart to see one that has saddness in those eyes.

I call the sad look in a childs eyes "the wounded puppy look"
My mother always said that. "....they looked like a wounded puppy." I don't beleive I ever saw a wounded puppy but they must look that way!
I got a chance to read the journels of a great grandfather. They spanned 1917 to 1947. It was great. g grandma got summer complaint frequently which I guess was any time you felt too hot or missable about anything you had summer complaint. I get that some times LOL When snowed in during the winterand getting low on supplies they would hook up the sleigh and collect the neighbors for pot luck supper. everyone would bring something to help make the meal. and every month he bought 1 pair of silk stalkings for around 60 cents and a couple of cigars for 5 cents. the stalkings were quite expensive. He walked the railroad traicks and made repairs for a living. he wrote each days weather down, what he did,what his wife did. update of the local goings on etc. my aunt inherited them. She won't take care of them but that is life. well I could go on and on but I got to go now. Candy

The look of wonder in my kids eyes as they experience new things
reading outside on a warm day
doing puzzles
the smell of fresh baked bread
going on a holiday with no t.v, phone or computer
martial arts
watching the ocean during a storm
the sound of rain hitting the roof
scrapbooking....cause it reminds me of all the good memories I've had

Wow, I wish we all lived on the same street as neighbors!! We all like so many of the same things and have the same values!!

We could scrapbook at Deb's and eat fresh bread while listening to rain on the roof!!

.....then go to Luvsbirds and have tea in her garden while having a bible study!!! I will bring the lemon meringue pie!!!

.....then go to Candy's and make Christmas presents and have her give us some painting lessons!!!!

........then go to Morielia's for dinner and a campfire in her backyard!!!!

....then off with Barbar for a sunset horseride....except that I am scared of horses!!! LOL!!!!!!
