Hmmm, wonder what that recipe was? Anyone have an easy one they would like to post here? Strawberry season will be just around the corner!

It disappeared with other issues a long time ago.

I make easy strawberry shortcake by defrosting frozen strawberries. You can add sugar to them if you'd like. I take the can whipped cream and a pound cake. I pour the strawberries on a slice of pound cake and dab the whipped cream on it. It is easy.

The Bisquick recip, most often on the box or on the website, is a great one for quickness. Best if used the same day made, since they get a little heavier the next. But then you basically have a scone! Enjoy...can hardly wait for strawberries! 5 more months up here.

I either make a white cake mix or buy an Angel food cake pre-made. Slice fresh Strawberries and sprinkle with sugar or sugar subsitute, cover and leave set for abit to make the juice or syrup. Then serve over the slices of cake with whip cream and a whole strawberry on top for a garnish.
