Sammi---I bought a GE oven at Walmart. It cost me under $30 plus tax!

Connie---I guess the different brands vary. Mine does not have a fan.

Thanks Barbszy for the link to this thread. I got mine at Walmart too for around $40.00. It's a GE brand. It don't have a fan either. I don't think I've ever seen one with a fan, so will go to the Nesco site to see one. I have made cakes & cupcakes in mine & had no trouble getting them browned on top. If it seems like too much moisture is in the liquid in the roaster, I just prop the lid open a little & cook it down to the consistency I want. My turkey came out perfect.

Only the Nesco brand ovens come with a fan, and only some models. You can find them on the Nesco website, QVC, or ebay (buyer beware, of course!) Occasionally they show up on Amazon and in other places as well.
