what i want it for is to edit and do neat things with pics..
Like make things look scary, goth, neat, different eyes, eye colors, hair colors, effects.
Like smoke, fire, water..whatever it is you can do.

Can u do the same thing on pant shop as u can on photoshop?

I have an older copy of Corel photo-paint. In the photo part I can change the color of most any thing but I have to encircle it with a lasso and then add colar to area I lasso. I also can enlarge the picture and match picels or copy them. Draw new parts . Pretty much every thing but it takes some learnin bout the program first. I have drawn missing legs and arms and super imposed a new head on someone for a doctor once. The family photo got wet because of a flood. No matter what you get have fun!

Photoshop Elements is a much more afforable version and earier to use then the full version. I took a lot of photoshop classes in college and have to say, a lot of the features are way beyond typical photo editing that most people do. But Elements did have a lot of the best, and basic stuff. I don't have a copy but I think it's only $60 and you can download it from the adobe website.

Im not familiar with PhotoShop Elements, but I use PSP and Animation Shop all the time, and you can do tons of things, there is also alot of PSP help sites out there (free ones) thats how I learned (and Im still learning), there is aso a free version of Eye Candy 3, you can download into your psp to use for alot of really good effects,(there is also quite a few effects that come with the PSP) and there is alot of sites out there that will help you use Animation Shop along with your PSP, to animate things, (thats one of my favorite things to do, make the eyes blink, and simple animations, etc.
