Some awards are from participating in certain groups:

Postcard Exchange
There are "minimum post" requirements for the clubs and exchanges, except for the Postcard Exchange.
Other awards are given for submitting a great recipe or tip. The tips are nominated for awards by members of the moderating staff. These include:

Just for You
Education
Family Time
Frugal Tip
Kids' Craft
Craft
Food Tip
We have a "Queen's Crown" award for anyone who has won 5 tip awards in the same category.
We have an award for a game that we run periodically here: "Guess Who" and a special one for 5-time winners.
Finally, there are some special awards:
Prayer Chain Participant (members who regularly post in our
Prayer Corner receive this award)
Blog award for anyone who has a blog hosted through FC
Gallery Album owner for anyone who has an album in our Photo Gallery
Great Idea award
Prize Winner award
Honorary Member award
Bumper Sticker award
Member Memorial award for our deceased members
Just because a member submits a recipe or a tip does not mean they will win an award. We have tons of recipes and tips submitted all the time. But don't let that discourage you from posting your favorite tips and recipes. Even if you don't win an award for one, it may be helpful to other members, and that's the best reward of all
