Question What is Practical Kitchen? What's MomsMenu?

I subscribe to the From the Homefront newsletter. It is sent to me from Practical Kitchen. On the bottome of the newsletter it says the (i think) the webpage was designed by Family Corner. I got to looking around and there are chat rooms there too.

What is the difference between the two? I almost registered and then I figured I had better ask some questions first. There are totally different user names over there. I am a very loyal person and need to know if these are sister sites or what? I like where I am but that might be fun too. And If that one is so fun are there ladies from here overthere or vice versa. Like I said I am very loyal and I was here first. Any answers?

Thanks Jackie

Hi Jackie.... Yes, Practical Kitchen is a sister site to FamilyCorner.com. If fact, our "Ask the Cook" forum is run by Cindy, the owner of Practical Kitchen.

They are run seperately so to join PK, you will have to register there too.

Yes, From The Homefront and Practical Kitchen (now MomsMenu) is a sister site to FamilyCorner.

HOWEVER, From The Homefront, Practical Kitchen and MomsMenu do not yet have chat rooms or message boards, only this site does.

Let me explain. Homefront is a compilation of websites that are all owned by people that I know. We put Homefront together to help us all network and share. Probably what you received was the weekly Questions of the Week type newsletter from Homefront. Those are message board questions from all the website owners that are members of Homefront.

This is a complete list of webmasters that participate in From The Homefront:

FamilyCorner.com Magazine
Geo Parent
ChildFun.com
Practical Kitchen
Baby University
Main Street Mom
Old Fashioned Living
WomanLinks.com
She Loves God
Organized Times
WAHM.com
Fabulous Foods
Garden Guides
LocateACoach
The Party Works
iChef
Pregnancy And Baby.com
Prime Of Her Life.com
Idea Marketers
Old Fashioned Holidays
ChefMom
Holiday Cookies
Cake Works Central
Second Wives Club
Sew What's New
Neat Women Inc.
Fabulous Travel
Blue Suit Mom
Harry Potter Birthday
The Baby Works
Quilting Works

Hope that helps!
