Ok everyone, I am putting together a feature on Quick Cleaning Tips. Please share with me what helps you when cleaning your house. For example, do you keep a caddy of cleaning supplies in each room for easy access? Maybe you crank up the stereo when you're cleaning to make it less monotonous? Do you have a daily "clean up" time, say after dinner or after kids go to bed?
The room I hate cleaning most is the bathroom. But if I do a quick cleanup (sink, countertop and toilet) right after my shower each morning, it keeps me ahead of the mess until the next time for a full-room cleaning.
I also like to play "Beat the Clock" if I'm trying to get done fast.
Right now I am trying to pack up "last minute" items with the HOPE of moving out tomorrow so really not doing any cleaning. But I also take a 15 min time and do as much as I can. It is surprising what all can be done in that time limit. Good thread Amanda

Thought for the Day If you didn't start your day with a smile, its not too late to start practicing for tomorrow.~~~God Bless All
Before I go to bed at night I check the bathroom has the towels hung and clothes in the basket (although the kids are supposed to do this). I check in the morn when they have gone to school to.
I never go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink, I wash and at least make sure they are clean and on the drainer.
Pet hates, shower and oven, so when these have to be done I do them on the same day to get them over with.
What I have found is put them in the bath tub with dish washer detergent, [not the kind for the sink but for the dish washer],let them soak while you wash the windows, I have a regular paint brush & just kinda swish them with it & then rinse them, hold em up to let some of the water drain off . Take a old beach towel & roll them up in it . That gets most of the water out of them And then Hang em up!!!
I throw a load of wash in the washer before I start the coffee pot and set the timer so I won't forget to put them in the dryer.
Why don't the put a buzzer on washers like they do on dryers?
Love & Prayers,
Linda

One of the things that I do is keep a container of those disinfectant wipes under each bathroom sink. Each day I use a wipe to clean off the sinks, counters and toilet bowl. This keeps the bathroom pretty clean all week and when it comes to my once a week thorough cleaning, they really aren't that bad.
