Anyone Homeschooling In Oklahoma?

There's a chance we will be moving to Oklahoma. I know there are people that homeschool in Oklahoma. Can someone tell me what the laws are concerning homeschooling or direct me to a place where I could do some research? I know in Texas, it's pretty easy, not a lot of requirements, etc. Any help, comments, suggestions and (especially) encouragement would be appreciated!

You can check out the laws for homeschooling in Oklahoma here. From there, you can click on the word organizations under the word "Oklahoma" and it will take you to a page listing two state and three local organizations. There are probably many more small groups scattered around Oklahoma. It's possible that the state groups can tell you about other groups not listed on the HSLDA page. I had been homeschooling for over five years before I found out that there are two other groups in my immediate area that I never knew about!

I am sending some links to help you out here with your homeschooling. I encourage anyone to home school that can. I do know that it takes a very disciplined individual to homeschool. There are way too many distractions to get in the way. I do hope it works for you and yours though.
