I've been hs'ing our two boys (9 and 6) for four years now. Wow, it doesn't seem that long
My kids have never been to "normal" school, but my oldest seems to think that everyone stands around at their lockers and talks all day long because that's what he's seen on TV.
We decided to homeschool because it just seemed to be a good fit for us. I love to teach my kids and really enjoy spending all day with them. There are days when it would be easier to send them to school, but the good definitely outweighs the bad.
We really felt the Lord's leading when it came to hs'ing and have never looked back. This year has been a huge transformation year for us and our only constant is hs'ing.
I wouldn't trade it for the world.
