How long will it be before you start decorating for the coming holidays?

Kathy, I've only heard the term Black Friday in the last 5 years or so and at first thought it sounded bad too until someone explained it to me. You're right; if you get your bargains and the stores do good on sales so they are back in the black ink so to speak, everybody is happy.

You're Boxing Day sounds like fun too. That's cool that your dh gets triple pay to work that day.

He gets triple pay 'cause it's a public holiday like christmas day but some stores do open.
I myself have got a couple of good bargains but some things for sale are way out there like a big, big name fridge $50 but only 1, same for washing machines and so on, but the line up and the mad dash is horrendous for those things as only a couple big stores do it.
We go smaller and local, still bargains to be had just have to watch the push and shove!

There can be a lot of push and shove here too. I would recommend a helmet.

I used to go to get bargains on sweaters and clothing since it is in our wintertime but they don't have those deals like they used to. Some of the electronic stores would sell a small amount of a popular new item like when DVD players first came out, they might have sold 10 to the first 10 people in the door and the toy stores would do the same with whatever toy was popular that year. Now they might give gift cards, maybe to the first 10 people or so in the door, depending on the store.
