Chinese New Year

I remember in high school a good friend bringing me an envelope with money to celebrate Chinese New Year. I would love to hear more about the traditions of this holiday

Happy face

I don't know any of the Chinese traditions. I know at my grandson's school they celebrate Chinese New Years by ordering a lunch from our local chinese restaurant. After lunch each child is given a gold chocolate coin by the teacher for luck.
