deodorant

Wow! That's great you can make deodorant from your lavendar! You must be getting it to grow enough! I sure wish I could get it to grow. What I planted last year just looks totally dead. My soil drains well. I just don't have a green thumb, I guess. I'll have to really work more at it next time.
Good luck with yours!!!!!!!!!!

Lavender

I don't have time right now(cause we're goin to the garden center yippy skippy) to find the powder recipe using lavender but here are three deodorant recipes that I have sitting on my desk:
Deodorant Spray
5 drops tea tree EO oil
5 drops lavender EO
1 drop thyme EO
1 oz vodka
Mix well, add to spray bottle.
Shake well before using.

Deodorant Lotion
8 oz witch hazel
1 cup dried lavender buds
1/4 cup thyme (sorry, my hand notes did not say dried or fresh)
lavender and tea tree EO
Steep buds and thyme in witch hazel for about a week.
Strain and pour into spray bottle.
Add a few drops tea tree and lavender.

Antipersperant
1 cup water
1 cup rubbing alcohol
2 T Alum
3 T. rose water (this is made by steeping the petals in water)
Mix together in small bowl.
Transfer to plastic spray bottle.

I don't think the one I am currently using is one of these but is very similar to the first one and really works for my smelly pits. I only used it for 4-5 days to clear up my problem. Did not however work on my niece with the same problem.
I hope you can use some of these. I will look for more when I'm wore out from planting all the goodies I hope to buy today!

Thank You!

I can't wait to try. I'll test it out on my roommate!

My lavender is on a hill in a sunny spot. I also place a few football sized crystal rocks from our excursion in Hot Springs, Arkansas around it to help absorb heat. I heard that they need to not be cold.
