Easy way to keep track of how much water you drink each day.
I am on a personnal challenge with myself to drink more water!
I came up with an easy way to help me remember how many bottles of water I drink each day....
I wrapped 10 hair bands around the top of my water bottle. Each band represents 1 bottle of water. Every time I finish a bottle, I move one band from the top of the bottle to the bottom. This way I really don't have to try to remember the number of bottles, instead I can glance at the bands and count them.
I am up to 6 bands (bottles) a day.
1 bottle =2 cups so I am drinking 12 cups of water a day. This is a big improvement for me!
**Another tip: It is thought that drinking ice water revs up your metabolism. Who can't use that too?
Don't drink ice water with your meals, though. It will cause slower digestion of your food.
Here is a picture of my bottle (a free by mail ) with the bands on it. You can see that I have moved one band so far.
