JF and Happy
I've got my catch up appt for the surgeon on thursday, I couln't get one that was the 2 weeks he recommended so it was 3 weeks.
The huge bruise has now left my belly button cut, big purpley green bruise on a nice white belly LOL and the other cuts look good only 1 looks like it may make a bit of a scar.

You were all right, easy peasy, I'll be doing this in no time!

May I ask if too much salt can cause gallstones?

Oh heck no Happy, you'd never fine the piercing in my lilly white belly, even the sun does not see that spot often! LOL

Jackie
My Doc explained it to me that it's a calcification build up of the little things that generally float in your gall bladder. It can not be pinned down to one thing but certainly fatty deposits play a big part even though myself I don't eat a lot of fatty foods, it's actually an interesting organ and one we can do without like the appendix.
Try here for info , mine was one big inch long stone taken out with keyhole surgery and no real symptoms but 1 biggish attack I went to the Docs for.

well its good you got along so well and seem to be doing great...Its amazing how much surgery now can be done in little spots instead of big gapping holes to leave big scars.

I've been this morn to the surgeon I think I was in that room for all of 3 minutes!
How are you going? Good
Any problems? No seem to going well.
Can I have a quick look? I pull up my shirt.
I said I feel a twinge under my belly button now and then. He said that's just your muscles tightening up that's good.
Ok, you've done well, goodbye!
And back home again the trip there was longer than my appointment.

We'll have to catch up with Goldeagles hubbys op now I'm all done and dusted!
