I'm wondering if you've tried a Wii Fit and if so, what did you think of it?

Hi Tracey

I'm wondering if you've tried a Wii Fit and if so, what did you think of it?

We recently purchased a Wii for our family and I would really like to add the Fit to it but before I do, I would like to hear some thoughts on it.

I actually really like it!
My feelings are that children will play on video games whether we like it or not, so it might as well be active promoting exercise as a fun activity.
I have tried the Yoga segment and found it pretty challenging as the board is super sensitive. I think it would make a fun family game. My children are a little young but if they were older I would purchase one.

The best part of the Wii and the sports packs that we bought is that both of my kids can play the games...my son is 10 and my daughter is 5. My DD is so darn cute and funny to watch playing tennis, bowling and basketball. lol!

Well my in laws have one for the kids and they might get it for Christmas.But I know what you mean where the kids are up and moving around and excersing too.

OK. I lined up at Target today at 7:40am for the Toy Sale which opened at 8am JUST to buy the WiiFit. It was only reduced a little ($158-00 down to $129-00), but they are in very short supply here in Aus. (Not sure if it's the same there or not?)
So I am going to garden for about an hour or so, then I will set it up and try it out. Then I will come back and post!

Sorry if you checked back for my update. My garden and I are really enjoying each others company!
So I have now finished my lunch and cuppa and am going back to the garden.
The WiiFit WILL happen today, just maybe later!

OOps, I will try and make them smaller, but you can see why I want to keep going. . it looks so pretty now!

Well, I finally got my turn! Dd, ds and dd's boyfriend all spent time on it in the afternoon. Then dh enjoyed it for quite a while!
When I got my turn I really enjoyed it.
I have had a longer turn today. The hula hoop and the step board are heaps of fun. I think it might be helpful. . . time will tell
