I had a terrible migraine over the weekend and without really doing a lot lost the extra pounds that I had gained the week before.

Apricot -I totally missed the lost weight portion of your post. Good for you.

Yesterday I did nothing. I was almost in tears by the time I fell into bed last nite I was so wiped. Today I am full of it and raring to go! I will get a swim in today come H or high water! (that is after I take out the trash, make dinner & do the ironing).

I found this this morning. I hope it helps -

Good luck everyone.

I have had 3 eve's of swmming this week. My eating continues to be monitored and I am feeling confident. I hope to see some results come Monday.

Hope everyone has been able to get some movement in this week. Its so hard to find the time, and if I find the time, it seems to be weather prohibitive. Today no rain so I hope to get some in again tonite.

Good luck!

I hope you can get in some walking today Jodi. Last 3 days I have been walking in Walmart buying diff things b'day for Gina today, stuff to go in Hurricane stash as well as for everyday here. So maybe some of that walking paid off but just weighed and still 131 BUT no more even if no less.

Happy Bday Gina!

Its more enjoyable to walk in Walmart, or any other store! A/C is wonderful! My folks had a walking club at the mall in their town for that very reason. The mall carpeted the upper portion so the Sr's could take walks up there before the mall opened. It was good climate control summer and winter. And when the mall opened, they could have a bite to eat.

Keep it up Patti - sounds like you are doing great!

Yes walking in A/C is far better but they say sweating helps you lose.
I can not walk in the mall no baskets and lots of people do walk in the mall here before it opens and I have seen some during business hours too. I can only walk so far without a basket or my walker. DR told me yesterday right hip is doing well even tho' it still hurts in places and don't know when but left one will have to be done too. But will put off till really needed. Just wish these replacements would get rid of lower back pain. Keep up the good work

I am so sorry you may have to have the left one done too.

The walker or a basket is such a help, isnt it? My mom uses one too and its very helpful.

Keep working on it Patti. You have come so far.

Thank you Jodi, tho' left hip is not all that great still not bone on bone like the right was. I thank God for the really nice HUGO walker that Gina & Kent bought me for b'day 2 yrs ago it has seat and storage under the seat as well as bag in front and small side pockets. The reason they bought that one is because I can not stand any length of time so when we go to craft shows as "customers" I am in trouble when she stops to look at things. I think she has another craft show to "work" at the end of the month.
Well will go out on front porch and do hip exercises they should help a little bit weight wise.
Wishing all the best for all that are trying to lose for what ever reason
