Did you have back pain? If you only have head pain, you should only have head nerve block.

Doctor Ken

Welcome to our forums. By your title, are we to assume that you are a licensed medical doctor and what field do you practice in and what state are you in? I notice on your profile you do not have that information listed.

I used to suffer from daily chronic headaches now it is migraines. My Dr. put me on Ketorolac Tablets. If I take it as soon as I start hurting it goes away that day. My triggers are getting to hot, and stress.
I hope this helps

I take fioricet for migraines. I usually know when I'm getting one so I take it right away.

I've tired everything mentioned plus some, but none worked. The nerve blocks have been the best things that worked for me, but mine have been the worst. I had a nerve block a little over a month ago. The doctor accidentally hit a muscle, which just just healed. It is just now healed.

I have been getting migrains since I was 12 years old. After trying a million different meds I have finally found something that works. I now take Norvasc which is a calcium channel blocker as a preventative but if a migrain does come on I then take a Zomig which is a tiny pill that you place under your tongue and let disolve slowly. It works great! I had been getting so many migrains back to back that I had more bad days than good days which is why I started on a preventative medication. Now things are under control. I sometimes have to figure out if I just have a regular headache or if it is a migrain but if it persists (and I feel nauseaus or light bothers me) I can usually figure it out pretty quickly. those meds are a Godsend to me after suffering for so many years. I would get headaches that lasted for weeks, so bad that I could even feel them in my sleep so I am grateful that there are now better treatments.

I have suffered from migraines for years and have tried alot of different drugs. Stress brings mine on. My Dr. gave me something called Ketorolac Tab. I works if I take it as soon as I feel one coming on. It doesn't knock me out and works pretty fast. I hope this helps

migraines

My son't neurologist told him that he needed to take a specific vitamin combination supplement. It is: calcium, magnesium and zinc. This combination has been found to help headaches and migraines. It is available in that combination so that you only have to take 1 pill. He takes 1 tablet every night at bedtime and this has helped his headaches tremendously!
