I remember when John was alive I couldn't work due to the fact having to take him to this dr and then that dr.. If I took off of work as much as he needed to go to the drs I would be fire. I did finally get a job as a sub teacher, and worked when I was able to, but then on some days his health was not doing well and I needed to stay home with him. I allow myself go.. now I'm paying for it.. oh well.. it was still worth it. I wish you the best Cat lover..

Thanks, it is nice to know somebody understands! lol Most just don't get it not having insurance and not being able to have it and also having to stay home and care for DH. We did choose to live in the middle of no where and I still believe he is doing better here than he ever would have in the city! Here things are laid back and he doesn't have to cope with people all around which he doesn't do well with ever since the accident. Thanks again!

Cat you sound like you thought it all out And made the best decision for you both. I'm lucky enough to have the suppliment only because my dh was a bricklayer for 45 years and we are cover by the union insurance. They pick up after Medcare.Without that I doubt anyone would cover me, too many things wrong. Prayers for good health for us all
