Here the cut off use to be 14 but now it is 11-12. I agree as long as they have costume and behaving why a cut off.
Barbszy I remember walking down Farnsworth (main street in B'town) and looking at the shop windows that were painted by kids and adults and they won prizes for the best, scariest etc. And all the shops gave us candy/apples etc. No one had to be afraid their child would get hurt etc.
On the street I am on now no kids come. Accept friends who bring their child/children to special houses. Steven always comes to get something special I have for him. He is short so most likely can go yet another couple years.

I think as long as they are respectful and dress up or at least wear makeup on their face it is ok by me. I love to watch the kids all dressed up every year.

I agree to no age limit on fun! At my house if U were in costume U got good choice candy. If ya were older & barely a costume aka ballplayer cuz ya wore a hat ya got the junk candy bowl. lol I would always offer candy to the parents also. I also had a special couple of prizes for cool costumes that were homemade.

I have no problem with my son going trick-or treating. He will be required to wear a costume in order to do so.

I will give to any kid that comes to my door. After 9pm my light goes off unless I am still getting younger kids, which only happens when it falls on a Fri or Sat.
