Hello people!
I use Finesse, and sometimes the regular green Prell. They brought it back and it it still smells the same.
Nice thread, TrainLady!
Hope everyone has a nice day!

I love the new Dove shampoo. We have hard water and I don't have to use a lot and it works up a real lather. Rinses out fairly well too.

Aveda!

I love Aveda Shampure...I love the smell and because I work at a salon where they sell it, it's not that expensive. It's great!

Oh buttercup I used to love that stuff too! Are you old enough to remember the commercials where they dropped a pearl into it to show how thick it was?

I haven't used prell in YEARS. Hair dressers used to tell me how awful it was for my hair so I quit. I'll have to search it out again. I never noticed it being a problem but being young and dumb I took their word for it.

Jayne.. and a hairdresser also told me that AquaNet will fry your hair too.... I remember the pearl ..*chuckle* and the hairdresser told me about Prell too.. it's too harsh.... is what she said....

I see old Breck is back.... did you see the ad for it?

No I sure haven't seen the commercials for Breck! I remember those from a ways back. The hairdressers used to tell me baby shampoo was awful stuff for kids too. Their reasoning was if it would clean my hair as an adult then think what it will do to a child.

I RARELY use hairspray and have found when I do that it needs to be alcohol free. Alcohol dries my hair out to straw. I usually don't use it though since my hair is so thin and flat it makes me look even more flat headed.

Jayne.. thin and flat? You really need to see a good stylist to give you the right cut for your hair....

Since menopause took hold, I lost half my hair I swear.. I had more hair than what the hairdressers knew what to do with...
however, this gal gives me a good cut.. actually the old "DA" works really well for me... ..layered to give illusion of more..

Mousse will help you... and I too rarely use spray... I like the Aussie spray.. and the shampoos....

I have been using the VO5 "strawberries and cream"!! Love the scent!!!! It's taken a year but I have grown my short hair back to shoulder length and I like it so much better!! I can get it into a ponytail now!! I need to get a good conditioner though because my hair is dry as straw!

hugs,train
