nail colors for spring

I am hooked on french manicure. I am going to try different colors for the tips and a sheer gold for the top. My toes are polished in a solid color. In the winter I use black or dark plum. I switched to a lighter color for spring. I want a lighter plum.

What are your favorite colors?

I don't wear nail polish. But my teenage daughters love the nail pens. The get them at CVS. They are starting to get more colors. Not sure if anyone has ever tried them.

I have the white nail pen for french manicures. I love it. Haven't tried colors. Do they last better than the nail pens of 20 years ago?

Now remember, I am an Angeleno stuck in S. Florida...

I have a HOT PINK, I mean NEON, pink by grocery store brand Milani. It is so ugly, its cool. It makes your feet look so tan, even if they are not.

The only draw back, if you wear sandals/flip flops of any color - its a real clash. I can only wear black flippers when this is on my toes. But its my summer color, and I put decals on a toe or two, just for added glam (or lackthereof)

BTW, my Dad hates it. Hubby loves. I think its an age thang....

PS - I forgot this tip: If you want to keep your nail polishes from getting globby (is that a word) keep them in the fridge. They last forever and always go on like brand new!!!

Sounds interesting! I may try some bright bubble gum pink....

I can't imagine my dad even noticing my nail polish. lol

I get my nails done every 2 weeks and am VERY anal about my hands and nails. That is the only thing good on my whole body, LOL I tell the lady 2 just do whatever and within 2 hours, I am set and ready 2 walk out of the salon. I always have some type of design put on them and my toes always have to match!!!
Right now I am wearing Coral Craze by OPI...

What a nice luxury to get your nails and hands done. My hands are always in a toilet or changing a chamber pot, typing for ten hours so there is no point. My feet however, are always on display. (92 here today - get me a gun).

Yeah, my Dad only noticed my feet because the color is SOOOOOOOOO neon, you would have to be blind NOT to. LOL!

My toes are always done. I am trying to take better care of my hand and nails but like you J, my hands are so busy, in and out of water, I haven't done it. I got used to having very short nails while in college. Now it bugs me if they get past the end of my fingertips.

I am really wanting bubble gum pink now!

Its by Milani (its a drug/grocery store brand)- and the color is "Pink Pop". The nail polish itself is super cheap and comes right off so you MUST do atleast one top coat. The best I have found and really keeps the polish in tact for 2 weeks + is Nutra Nail Maximum "10" Strengthener.

Here is a link to their nail color chart but the site DOES NOT do the brightness of the color any justice. It looks like its plugged in! LOL!
