dual hair colors

Has anyone colored their hair using two differnt hair colors? I want to keep the blonde on the sides and top but color the back darker. I guess I would color the dark first then color the blonde the next day?

No more than streaks for me I'm afraid.
Is this is what you mean? I think it looks good but maybe not such an opposite white and black.
Let us know if you go ahead.

Yes that is what I mean! But Acorn and champage blonde not black and white. LOL I bought the colors today. I priced the dual colors when I got my hair cut. $75! I can not afford that. I spent $11 on hair color with a coupon.

I am not sure which way I would do it. I just coloured my dd hair which is blond, black on the last 4 inches. It looks great, but I did get a few spots here and there when I put in some streaks! Just as well she hates brushing her hair! lol I would suggest you be extremely careful with the dark for if you touch the blond with your finger it will leave a black spot. Have fun!

My granddaughter has long hair about to her waist. Above the ear was parted off the whole way around and pinned on top of her head. The bottom was dyed dark purple (looks black to me) Then this was covered in foil till the top was finished. The top was redish. Looked fine and kind of funky to me... I liked it for her.
