Blowdry Bootcamp

I may be to late for some areas, but I saw a preview for The Rachel Ray talkshow for a segment that will show you how to make your hair look like it does the day after you leave the salon. In her words Blowdry Bootcamp. I know I need to tune in.

I tried seaching on the website for RR but couldn't find it, there were some nice beauty tips for hair though in general. Maybe it will show up tomorrow. I konw I sure would be interested in knowing how to do this. Maybe it is all in the wrist?

Thanks Lee! My dd1 bought some 'root booster' at the grocery. It helps a little bit especially on top.

Ellen,
I watched it but there is no way I can truly explain how they do it. Its all in the arm! they showed those with longer hair, parting it in 5 sections roll the sides first blowdry the root, then lift your arm pointing the other side of the root. basicaly turn so your arm (while up high over head pointing toward the mirror. I probaly have lost you, check the website again maybe now its up there. I know I have not helped. I tried. You really need a visual.

I'll check the site but it sounds as if you are going against the natural lay of the hair to build up some vertical coming off the roots. Adn to work in smaller sections and work from the roots out.
