I thought I'd share this with anyone who may have the same embarassing problem that I've had for the past 3 years...
I started noticing a some hair growing on my chin, not much, but just a few. I started plucking them out with tweezers. I don't know if I made it worse by doing this, but I was embarassed of the hair, they were black and very coarse. Over the past couple years those few hairs turned into alot more. So I found myself not only plucking, but using wax on my chin too. I think that really made it worse. So last month, I told my husband that I was just so embarassed of this hair and I had to find something to get rid of it. I tried all the lotions, the bleaching stuff and nothing worked. I found out recently this unwanted hair is caused by hormones.
I finally got desperate and made an appointment with a dermatologist and she talked to me about laser hair removal. I agreed and I had one treatment 3 weeks ago (I still have 2 more treatments to go) But I am so excited and pleased! I haven't had to pluck or wax since! I'm not sure what kind of laser she used, but I am telling you, this has been a miracle for me. I just wanted to share this, incase there is someone else out there with embarassing hair on their neck and chin.
The treatments are expensive (190.00) per visit, but for me it was well worth it.
Hugs to you all

Just thought I'd give an update. I went for my second laser treatment for my chin and neck hair removal and it looks like it'll be my last one. My dermatologist says I responded so well to the treatment I probably won't need a third one. I'm still very happy with not having to pluck and wax my chin & neck daily.
Hope everyone's having a great day.

Thanks pixiedust,
It is a daily job for me too, although sometimes I may sneak by for two, but then the coarse hairs bug me!! I don't think they are that noticeable to others?!? It's worth looking into. How often are you likely to need laser treatments, or is a once off thing?
Hugs
Meg
