How many stores do you shop at during one shopping trip? - Page 2

I have tried to post this 3 times this morning, and I hope it goes through now.

I, like Barb, shop mostly at ShopRite. I will look at the loss leaders at ACME, and if the bargain is good enough, I will make the trip. Occasionally, I will shop at the local grocery which is a 2-store chain. If I go in and see "pot roast" on a piece of beef, I will get it. The cut may not look quite right, but the flavor is delicious, always.

My Hubby loves to shop so I let him !!! LOL !!! When I go with him (only about once every 3-4weeks) we do make a circular trip hitting Sam's club, Acme and Food Lion based on sales. If we don't have 1/2 of receipt or more on sale it's a bad week for us. I know with our own beef, hog and lamb to butcher and our own garden produce canned or froze this keeps outside grocery store costs down.

We grocery shop every 2 weeks. Some weeks we stay in town and get everything at Pick n Save. Some weeks when we need more than groceries, we go to WalMart, get everything there that we can. We will go to Fleet Farm or Menards if we need anything there at the same time.

Usually one store but if there is a great sale such as bogo on meats (roasts, ribs, chicken breasts, etc.) I will go to two stores.

well let see i try and give everybody a little of my bussiness but if it is the winter and -30 below i do it in one store , and now that walmart has stuff like milk and ect i sometimes buy everything in one store , but i do suport our local store the most when things are on sale.

On a good day we can hit two in one route (Costco & Fred Meyers), otherwise it is two to three separate trips... depending on what the store(s) we went to had in stock.

I shop at 3 places...

I do one huge shop at our local freezer store and try to get in what I would need for the full month...

Then at the same time do a large shop at the local supermarket which I will try and get the majority in for the month

Then through the week I will have to go to the supermarket for bits such as bread and milk, but the 3rd is the local farm shop where I get things such as the veg etc... we go there usually once every 2 weeks
