I decided not to total this month as I am buying for dd#3’s household also. I’m trying to make sure she does not have to use the food bank, to save it for others. God has been good to me so I’m trying to give back. I am also buying personal and cleaning products for others

Wow, I am out of control on what I actually spend on groceries. I used to take cash for the month and that helped, but haven't done that in quite awhile. I have been buying for others quite a lot lately also so it might be scary to actually have a total of what I've spent. Going to have to watch you all here for a while and then see what I can do about mine!

Well I think I am doing a little better this month, of course had quite a bit of stuff stockpiled and trying to use that. So far I've spent $51.57 on groceries, this is just fill ins (bread, milk, fresh fruit and veggies) and only $2.16 on non food (2 bags cough drops). We have eaten out twice for a total of $42.25 in that category. We do our 4 week shopping a week from tomorrow and I don't think I need a thing until then. Lots of other expenses this month which is helping me keep my grocery shopping under control.

I keep reading your posts and am thinking how good you all do! I used to do good when we had a house full, but have just let it slide since we moved and only have the one small town grocery that has high prices. Not as easy to shop now and I have to pick up when I get near bigger groceries. Going to continue to watch, listen, and relearn till the new year and see what I can do about mine then!
