Hi I am new, I spent over $700 last month. Family of 4, dh, dd,and dgd (17). I am going to try for $600. This month. This includes, paper product, personal products. I want to thank all for coupon sites and info on creating a price book. Looks like I got my work cut out for me this month. Wish me luck.
I haven't tallied it up for May but I was over again. I just can't seem to ever stay within my budget no matter how high I set it. Some of the extras was for dh and yds camping trip but not enough to take me over so much. I am not sure yet what to set my goal for. I need to think about it. Mine is for a family of 3 sometimes 4. It includes all food, canned dog food, health and beauty products, otc medicines but does not include eating out or dh and ds hobbie expenses.

I'm going to stay at $300 for the month only because we are going on vacation for 5-6 days. But will need to bump it up in July as dd1 wont be eating at school.
I am setting my June budget at $600. The kids will be out of school, so they will be eating all 3 meals at home, and with friends visiting, I'll be feeding extra kids sometimes. So I'm setting it high and hoping to beat it.
My family includes 2 adults, 1 teen boy, 1 12-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy.
My budget includes food, paper products, cleaning supplies and "health and beauty" but not medications, eating out, birdseed, and greeting cards.
I will be lowering my budget this month for a couple reasons, one I way over spent in May, but also because I just did some major shopping last week and the freezer and cupboards are stocked pretty well and most will be used for June and not May when I bought it. I usually set $400 as my goal for dh and I and this is just food, no pet food, hba or anything else. This month I will try just $250 as I have enough meat to last all month and most canned, pkgs. items I need. Will fill in with milk and fresh produce and exceptional sales and see how I do. Then in July I will probably have to go back up.

My goal is $600.00. We have 5 people in the house(3 adults and 2 teenagers). My budget includes food, paper, cleaning, health, dog and cat food. It will include the supplies for the 1 camping trip this month. It doesn't include gas, eating out(we don't do to much) or clothing.
I have gotten completely off track with grocery shopping for the past two months, and it is time to rein myself back in. I am going to do a pantry, fridge and freezer inventory today.
My budget is for a family of four (2 adults, 2 teenage girls), paper & cleaning products, health & beauty, and dog food. I am thinking I will set my goal at $600.00 this month as school is out and there are often "extra" teenagers at my house.

Hi, did an inventory this morning. Freezers, upright, roll-out in garage refrig and freezer section of side by side. Checked pantries (3). Made a list of what I need to stock up on. Now working on menu for next two weeks. I am going to military commissary tomorow (with a list). Have everything ready to start my Price Book. So I am well on the way to try and save money! Here I go...
