Gloria, thanks for posting this information. I was just thinking the other day that I wanted to get a couple of hanging plants for my kitchen window. Because we have moved quite often, we have given away most of our houseplants. I really miss having them.
You're welcome, Kathy. This is such a simple & easy way to clean your air & plants just nice to have around. I have pothos, philidendron & spider plants from the list. I can't tell you how many new plants I have made from the pothos. It just keeps on giving, LOL.

Very Good Info,,Thanks
I kinda knew already that house plants can clean the air,,and I have some 40 house plants,,many of which are named in that article,,,
I have always loved house plants,,but could never get one to live very long,,,then a couple years ago I started working at a pet/plant/Sears outlet store and the owner taught me so much about plants,,now I have not problem with them,,I have some that like a lot of water so they get watered once a week and some that don't like a lot of water and only get watered maybe every second week,,,also one of my biggest problems,,is plants like fresh water,,something I had never thought of,,we have a water softener and when I got water just from our regular tap..it would eventually just kill my plants,,so I started getting water from outside tap which comes straight from our well,,,my plants love it,,also never water with cold water,,make sure is in luke warm...cool water to some plants shock them,,,,yes I learned lots of small tips that really help..
most rubber leafed plants don't like a lot of water
really leafy plants do like water,,but you also have to be careful not to water too much,,or you could drown the roots...I always do the finger test,,I poke finger into middle of plant if still moist ,,no more water,,if not the add water,,,
LOL,,the only thing I am not good at,,is I couldn't tell you any names of the plants I have,,I just like them all...
Oh my,,,sorry ,,I got going,,Good Luck everyone with your house plants,,,
I have aloe & snake(mother-in-law) plants that I only water once a month. They don't like too much water. I have a Hyponex plant book that I've had over 30 years. It gives good tips about watering, fertilizing, light requirements, pests & increasing your plants as well as having pictures(to be able to identify them). I have taken it to plant swaps at my library & it comes in handy to be able to tell someone about their plant.

Cindy, I would recommend going to the library & borrowing a book first. That's what I do, check out a book & if I really like it, then I buy it( used or as cheap as I can get a good copy). My library has had garden book swaps & even gives away old garden library books as they acquire more books. They do this at the garden programs they have several times a year. I take what I think I might like & if it's not what I really can use, I bring it to the next swap. I also borrow other books, as it is better for the environment(less trees cut down),my environment(not so much stuff), & most books aren't ones that I need to have. After I have read them, back they go. I have gotten what I need out of them & let the next person enjoy them.
