Gingerbread Men Crafts

Does anyone know where I can find patterns or designs for Gingerbread men? I want to make cloth dolls, a swag, stitcheries or cushions with a Gingerbread Man theme.... any information would be greatly appreciated.

My searches are bringing up a lot of gingerbread recipes but little else.

Thanks!

Hi Raggedymom:
I have a poem and instructions for a Gingerbreadman Garland for you. The poem is;

~~Gingerbread Friends~~

These special little Gingerbread people
were made with you in mind...

Because you are a special friend and,
oh so very kind...

Just string them accross your fireplace
at Christmas time each year...

Then sit back and enjoy the sight, and
know your're very dear...

~~Babs 2002~~

http://www.wrights.com/class/12_xmas...mengarland.htm
I used the above pattern, and instructions, and changed them to gingerbread men and ladies!!
I hope you can use this idea, and if you use the poem, please give me the credit for it.
Thanks and have a great day!
~~Babs~~

Hi raggedymom

I've just asked my crafting discussion list to come up with a bunch of links for you, but there's also these that I made last Christmas, hope you like them!

Thank you so much for these links, I truly appreciate your help!

Babs - that poem is beautiful - you've got a flair for writing by the sounds of it. I have just had a look at the website with the snowman, and discovered that they also have a gingerbread garland too, so I have two lovely patterns to use now! Thanks!

Amanda - thank you for your help, it's wonderful knowing you can post here on your site, and there's usually someone out there who knows where to find just what you're chasing!

I hope I can reciprocate in due course and help others!

Thank You!

I haven't had a chance to look at the other links yet, Amanda, but the flower pot gingerbread men is just toooo cute. I'm definitely going to try that one.

Thanks mama! I actually did a second set for my MIL that came out way cuter in my opinion, but I didn't get a pic of those before she ran them off to Iowa LOL

Hi Raggedymom:
Thanks for the compliment about my poem, I appreciate the thumbs up every now and again. I also saw the other gingerbread man garland on the wrights web site, but I love working with the EZ felt, and I was just too lazy to stuff them.
lol ~~take care Babs~~~

Amanda
Thanks for those site, all the projects are wonderful, thanks for sharing, I added them to my favorites.
